House Report - MAY

Posted By Sue

Winter may be coming with the cold and wet outside but it is warm and busy at Clota Cottage.

Last Friday we celebrated our biggest morning tea. There was a wonderful ceremony for people who have been touched by cancer, amazing scones and lots of talk and laughter. Thank you to everyone to helped and participated.

As part of Neighbourhood House Week we participated in the “Moveable Feast“ celebration with friends from Burke and Beyond and many form our Social group joining us for afternoon tea and tour of our gardens. Yes it was sunny that day!

We have also enjoyed a watching Bohemian Rhapsody after a hearty soup lunch.
Upcoming events include

Movie Lunch: Ladies in Black June 26 at 12noon

Lunch and Learn: International charity Mukti to talk about the work they do with women and girls in India and Sri Lanka Thursday June 6 at 1pm

Our gardening group will start on July 17 and there is still space for some new members.

We are looking for men to join Bill and improve their health and well-being with a fun and social men’s exercise class.
