Social Community Garden

We encourage everyone to get involved in the Clota Community Garden. It is not only about the garden - many of us also love food and practise sustainable living. It doesn’t matter if have are still looking for your green thumb, or a keen gardener wanting to feel the dirt in your hands, you are welcome to pop in and get involved.
With a focus on bringing people together, the Clota Community Garden welcomes anyone with an interest in gardening, flowers, harvesting, cooking, and more. From time to time we organise workshops and guest speakers. You could potter around, grab a cuppa, help out with cutting flowers, planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, share knowledge, share cuttings, or learn from others, chat, draw, take photos. Come along and meet your neighbours.
The group currently meets on Tuesday mornings, but you are welcome to visit and enjoy the garden on other days at your leisure.
When the weather moves us indoors, we come inside to plan projects, research, delve into our library of gardening and cook books, swap cuttings, and so much more.
Participating in your local community garden improves social connections, enhances mental health and provides opportunities to share, learn, create and engage with sustainable practises.
