Welcome to Clota Cottage

Clota Cottage is a community Neighbourhood House located in Box Hill. We are a not-for-profit organisation offering a range of community programs including Adult Education, Leisure and Social activities. We also have spaces that we hire for meetings, classes and birthday parties. All people, regardless of age, ethnicity, ability, needs or financial status are welcome.

Lockdown Information

During Government imposed Lockdowns Clota Cottage will be closed. During lockdowns our programs are either cancelled, delayed or held online via zoom, depending on the nature of the activity.

As of the afternoon of Thursday 15 July there is a likelihood of another lockdown. Once this has been confirmed, and the dates known, we will endeavour to get in touch with everyone who is enrolled in activities scheduled to take place during the lockdown period. Please be patient as this will take some time. Generally, activities that were online during previous lockdowns will be online again, and those there were postponed are likely to be postponed again.

Our office number has been diverted and will be answered during the closure, otherwise messages will be responded to as soon as possible.

When we do return, here are the requirements:

We can't wait to welcome you back to Clota Cottage. We know how important it is for you to return to your activities, to catch up with your friends at Clota, and to take care of your physical and mental health. We are committed to supporting you in every way we can. If during lockdown, you need any assistance, information or just wish to chat and keep in touch, please give us a call.

Covid safe measures will be in line with Government mandated requirements for community facilities.

Due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, our on site classes are small with places limited. Bookings are essential.

All staff, volunteers, participants and visitors are required to adhere to our COVID-19 Code of Conduct.

All visitors to Clota Cottage must sign in using the Victorian Government QR Code. Download the App from the DHHS website (link below) prior to your visit.
